A bushland haven for native wildlife in the Yarra Valley - open daily 9am-5pm, a must visit for those who have not been and a great day out for the kids.
The best of Australian animals and opportunities to do private animal experiences with koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, dingoes + more! The Spirits of the Sky bird show at either 12pm or 3pm daily is a must see! Do it!

The newest Tourism business to hit the area, which focuses on showcasing the Yarra Valley through unique & adventurous experiences.

Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery
From young kids to the oldies, at least drop in for abundant free chocolate tastings. Watch the Chocolatiers hand craft over 480 different chocolate products. Relax in the all-day Café serving breakfast, lunch and specialising in decadent sweet treats.
Awesome outside area that gets busy in summer to sit down with a picnic blanket, have lunch and enjoy one of their decadent ice-creams!
Yarra Valley Dairy
The photo of the old shed is deceiving! Step inside to the beautiful cheese shop, cafe and gift shop. You can enjoy some of the finest Australian cheeses at their authentic Farmgate establishment, in the centre of a picturesque dairy farm in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Fantastic local produce available for purchase.
Hot Air Ballooning
If you want to up the ante and really make memories on a Yarra Valley getaway, then a morning hot air balloon ride is a must!

Rayner's Orchard

Healesville Hotel
Locally known as "The Middle Pub", the Healesville Hotel built in 1910 but recently restored with the olden days in mind is a beautiful pub that services great food with an awesome local wine list to match. Check out their nightly specials, regualr live music and wood-fired pizzas in the beer garden, and you can even stay the night with 7 accommodation suites upstairs. The pick of the pubs in town!
Tarrawarra Estate
TarraWarra Estate is best known for exceptional pinot noir and chardonay. All wines are meticulously grown, hand-picked, vinified and aged on the 26-hectrare estate.

The closest winery to the Healesville main street is Boat O'Craigo. Having undertaken a recent renovation, they now have the looks to match the awesome view. A family-ran winery, think wood-fired pizzas and delcious wines on the back deck overlookinng the vines.

Yering Station
With vines first planted in 1838, Yering Station is proudly Victoria’s first vineyard. A jewel of the Yarra Valley, we produce world-class cool climate wines from our vineyards which are famously renowned for their expressive varietal integrity.
A beautiful winery with a very cool and old-school cellar door, these are arguably the best tasting wines in the Yarra Valley.
Grand Hotel, Yarra Glen
If you want a great pub feed and want to leave full, head to the Grand Hotel in Yarra Glen.
Happy hours, live music and accommodation compliment their awesome pub food menu making it one of the best pubs in the Yarra Valley.
Herd Bar & Grill
Just off the main drag in increasingly happening Healesville, this subterranean bunker bar & restaurant wouldn’t be out of place in an international city. The building is one of the most striking in town.

The Black Spur Drive
What our bar is named after......
The Black Spur Drive cuts through the lush forest landscapes of the Yarra Ranges, linking the Yarra Valley with the mountain areas around Marysville. Famous for its towering trees and spectacular valley views, the Black Spur connects Healesville with Narbethong on the Maroondah Highway as it winds its way up the Great Dividing Range.
Stop for a photo amongst the tall trees and breath in the oxygen!
Maroondah Dam & Reservoir Park
The impressive 41-metre high dam wall offers a scenic lookout over formal gardens, forested slopes and the broad, peaceful reservoir lake. The Maroondah catchment is still an important source of Melbourne’s water.
A great place for a nature walk, family picnic or BBQ with some pretty impressive views. On the edge of the Healesville township
Redwood Forest
Here stands an assortment of trees like you have never seen before. Take the drive over to Warburton where the Redwood Forest offers the opportunity to relax on the lawns with a picnic and wander through the towering Californian Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) forest.
Nearby walks to freshwater streams and a walk or ride along the O'Shannassay Aqueduct Trail can be done too.
Four Pillars Gin Distillery
Healesville is the home of the world famous Four Pillars Gin Distillery, the most successful business in the Yarra Valley in the 21st Century.
Visit them to taste the full range of gins, buy a limited edition, experience a masterclass or enjoy a drink and something to eat in our the garden.
A must-visit for 1hr on any weekend itinerary.
Stag Lane DIstillery
If you love gin and/or want more of a family feel for a gin distillery visit, then dropping into Stag Lane Farm will not be regretted,
The Reeves family are a delight. Swing past their beautiful farm and newly built distillery to try a tastying paddle watchign James, the head distiller, at work through the window.
Dare to taste the amazing Gin Reaper which is the spicy Carolina Reaper Gin that is one of their best sellers; it will "blow your mind" - their words!
Cavanagh’s Whisky & Alehouse
A recent addtion to Healesville, this city-like Whiskey bar is another example of Healesville's evolution into cool-town vibes. Smack bang in the middle of the main street, try them out!
Try a 'boilermaker', a whiskey shot with a tap beer chaser. They have steak nights, trivia nights, and a 5-star 4-person private dining experience called "Emerlad City", for that special occasion.
Yarra Valley Railway
A great outing for kids or train enthusiasts alike, join The Yarra Valley Railway on a 35-minute return trip to a location near the historic tunnel at Tarrawarra on a number 22RM Walker Rail Motor Train. The railway line you will travel forms part of the line which used to join Lilydale to Healesville, which closed for public use in 1980.
Trains depart Healesville Station on the hour throughout the day from 10am-4pm every Sunday, Public Holiday and Wednesdays in School Holidays.
