Let's have a look inside the walls

What once stood at this property was a mud-brick home, but it undertook a major renovation in 2015. When we say "renovation", two original mud-brick walls were retained and remain as feature walls, and the rest is brand new!
The house is a home with a conscience. It is an investment in a beautiful property as well as future generations. If you have regard for a home that respects the environment, has breathtaking views and attention to detail in all its finishes, then this is a weekend away not to be missed.
Comprising 5 bedrooms with open plan living and 2 bathrooms, the versatile property has many options with the living zones and can be tailored to the unique needs of the guests. With 16 solar panels and carbon tracker, triple insulation, double glazing, water catchment tanks, wood fire using wood from fallen trees on the property, the latest in CO2 whisper quiet heat pumps, it is one of the most energy efficient houses you will stay at.
5 bedrooms; 1 x King, 3 x Queen, 1 x Bunk Room (4 singles)
2 bathrooms (each with toilet & shower) + 1 large spa bath
Dining table for 10 people, lounge suite for 10 people
Fully stocked Kitchen with every utensil you can think of!
Nature all around the house!
When you visit the Yarra Valley, a trip to the Healesville Sanctuary is most definitely encouraged, but do expect a free visit to our own sanctuary by many local friends from the Australian Wildlife family.
Relax in the surroundings on the 2 acre property and enjoy visits from kookaburras, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, deer, echidnas, and the varied and much-loved birdlife.
The property is not fenced, and is in "the bush", so please respect the local wildlife that we share the property with.
